What was unclear was whether Cloniger was passed out in the truck during the night. Jerry Cloniger, a bearded man with a raspy voice had a different story than Pierce’s.
Although Jerry was noted tp be heavily intoxicated, he said that he, Fletcher and Cloniger had gone inside together and were drinking beer on the couch before Jerry went to bed.
