unilateral business decisions on behalf of the Partnership without consulting, or over the objection of, Lynch. Such decisions included the purchase by the Partnership of a property known as the “Norman House” for $900,000 and the failure by the Plaintiff to renovate the upstairs of a property known as the “Tavern” into guest suites despite overwhelming evidence as to the significant financial benefits to the Inn of such renovations.”

With protracted differences of opinion about business decisions concerning the Inn and their holdings, the two partners have been struggling to sort things out as town and county residents have waited for the final outcome, some speculating that if the two couldn't resolve their differences that their joint properties might end up in public auction.

But such speculation can now be put to rest as the formal announcement came on Friday and was settled out of court.

“Within the next few days, there will be a final document on file,” said O’Connell’s attorney David Fiske of Fiske and Ebersohl, PLLC, located in Alexandria “Everything has been on hold pending their working out the business arrangement.”
