Pierce, Fletcher said that they had beat up a man and stolen his cash, his driver’s license and his ATM card. Pierce also said that Fletcher had told her that Cloniger agreed to let him have sex with her for $64.
Pierce refused and said that Fletcher told her to forget that he had ever brought it up with her. Pierce then attempted to get Jerry Cloniger to bed and went upstairs to prepare a bed for him.
According to Pierce, Fletcher came up behind her and sexually assaulted her while she was putting sheets on the bed. “He held my head down on the bed and raped me,” Pierce said.
A DNA expert testified that in the lab report there was none of Fletcher’s reproductive fluid found within Pierce’s vaginal cavity, but there was significant evidence of it on her right buttocks. There was, however, evidence of Cloniger’s reproductive fluid in her vaginal cavity. According to Pierce, Fletcher had ejaculated on her backside after raping her.
