Leggett said the council is taking applications for the vacant position left by Lyncb. Applications are due Feb. 9 and the council will decide on Lynch’s successor at their monthly meeting Feb. 14.
The next vice mayor will be chosen from among all the council members after Lynch’s former seat in the group is filled.
