Community Concert Association Memberships for the 1982-83 Season are offered through April 16.
In November the first concert will feature the Bill Snyder Trio (piano, bass and percussion) in an evening of popular and classical music. Of Bill Snyder, a widely known pianist and compV»y and his trio, the New Times says, "Dazzling, digital dexterity!”
The Ballet Folclorico Nacional De Mexico (National Folk Ballet of Mexico) will be presented in March, 1983. A company of 50 young dancers and singers, in costume and with trumpets, violins, mariachis, vihuela and walking harp will take the audience on a journey through the diverse provinces of Mexico.
In April, 1983, the Empire Brass Quintet, a group of young supervirtuosi, whose performances and recordings have earned international acclaim, will complete the season. A winner of many awards, the ensemble has made three highly successful European tours, and since 1975 has been the Quintet-inResidence at Boston University to teach gifted brass players at the Boston U. Tanglewood Institute.
All concerts are held at the Culpeper High School Auditorium. Tickets are: adult $12, student $6 and family $30. All prices the same as last year!
