Sens. William A. Truban of Shenandoah and Nathan H. Miller of Rockingham, and Dds. Kenneth B. Rollins of Loudoun, George P. Beard Jr. of Culpeper, and Raymond R. “Andy" Guest Jr. of Warren are all Republicans and will not be voting in the Democratic caucuses.
Del. Rollins said last week that he will support both Mr. Ryan and Mr. Horne for the judgeships. He said a Loudoun lawyer should hold both positions because more of the population and caseload is concentrated in Loudoun.
Del. Rollins, who previously had been unwilling to support publicly specific candidates, said he did not know how much of a factor Mr. Ryan’s age would be.
