I don’t mean to get prolifically philanthropic, or to pontificate endlessly, but here lies THE GREATEST GIFT we can pass on to our children in this country. These are our VALUES AND IDEALS. Together values and ideals translate into all we DO and SAY. They are a measure of our character. When we view our county, and our country, let’s be big enough to do so from the perspective not of ourselves, but from the perspective of the values and ideals our forefathers built this country upon.
Years ago my father told me “a big dog will lazily wag his tail when a little dog will go out of his way to bite ya." I don't feel I’ve done him much justice by biting back. You have bad-mouthed the character and intent of all of our board members. I have talked with your reporter several times in an effort to “understand where we are coming from.” I might add that she has not ever called me on school business. Regardless what district your readers might be in, I hope they’ll call me at 987-8080 and judge me themselves.
