Raymond Luther Leake, 73, of Culpeper died Friday, March 5, 1S62, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Leake was a retired foreman of the Virginia Department of Highways, a native of Rappahannock County, and the son of the late Luther Albert and Florence Jenkins Leake. He was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Nichols Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Rachel Hoke of Roanoke; four grandchildren; one greatgranddaughter and a brother, John Lewis Leake of Culpeper. Also surviving are three stepbrothers. Glenn Jenkins of Culpeper, Alvin Jenkins of Warrenton and Medford Jenkins of Annandale and two stepsisters, Mrs. Christine Bircher of Cairo, W. Va., and Mrs. Helen LeVere of Columbus, Ohio.
