By consensus, the board accepted Lane’s recommendations on roof work at the elementary school. Bids will be solicited for patching and repairing and existing roof, spraying it with sealer and applying a coat of gravel. No Mention was made of any work to be done at the high school roof which was also reported last month to be leaking seriously.
In another change in the school calendar, the board substituted June 5 for April 17 as a make-up day should another school day be missed because of weather. The switch was made so as not to conflict with the Fodderstack Classic Road Race scheduled for April 17.
At 12:50, the board retired again into closed door session, this one for discussion of employment, the protection of privacy of individuals on matters unrelated to public business, investment of public funds and briefing by staff on matters pretaining to actual or potential litigation.
When the board returned to open meeting at 1:50, the chairman reported no action taken.
