Neither change asked for by the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors— prohibition of running deer with dogs in the county and equalization of the deer season statewide—appears on the list of new proposals.
Proposals concerning the deer season include a proposed increase in the season limit to two in the western counties, retaining the one day antlerless deer season. In Greene and Madison counties the number of antlerless deer days is proposed to be increased to two. Prince George County also will hare a two day antlerless tleer season. Proposed to be added to the list of counties authorized a three day antlerless deer season are Amherst (west of Route 29), Campbell (both sides of the Southern Railroad), Pittsylvania (both sides of the Southern Railroad). Fort A. P. Hill (nonimpact areas) and Leesville WMA.
Proposed for 12 day antlerless deer seasons are Brunswick. Surry, Sussex.^ Southampton counties and the City of Suffolk (east of the Dismal Swamp line).
