No Basketball
A die-hard Virginia basketball fan who's constantly on the trail of tickets to home games in Charlottesville, Martin suffered terribly from the dearth of sports news in Europe. "One of the worst things about the whole trip was that I could only get the scores of the college games and even then, they were two days old. It was frustrating! But one night in Brussels, we got back to our hotel room after dinner at 2 a.m. 1 turned on the radio and guess who was playing on the Armed Forces Network— NC State and Virginia!
