James Frank Bowling, Jr., 39, of Flint Hill, died March 9, 1982 in Sibley Hospital, Washington. D.C. Born August 1, 1942 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of James F. Bowling, Sr. and Gladys Meyers Bowling of Washington, D.C., who survive.

A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal conducted by the Rev. Peter Weems. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include J. R. Latham, Louis Moore, Edward Welch, Tom Massie. Edwin Eastham III and John Cosgrove.
