MERCHANDISE OF A typical country store is displayed in the 1900’s. Lit by gas lights and supplying most of the needs of the towns people, Stuart’s store in those days also fulfilled another need. In the rear was a privately-owned bank, one of the last in the country, where Mr. Stuart handled the financial needs of his customers.
