To the editor:
In each issue of your newspaper, you aptly depict “Our Rappahannock Heritage."
While it would seem fitting and proper that newcomers to the county should share in this heritage since with their purchase of real property would accrue all rights and privileges, need we allow them to become a ruling force?
It would appear that some of the “foreigners" have launched a campaign to fashion our heritage to meet their pleasures and pursuits without regard to established patterns and practices enjoyed by Rappahannock's .lifelong residents.
Emphasis is made that there are many recent arrivals to this county who are real assets and then there are those who are so opinionated they refuse to see but “one side of the coin."
