hunting with dogs (and gun) with the same zeal as any other hunter and with equal control over his dogs.

I know that on at least two occasions his dogs left his property in pursuit of deer. Not being at home, you could only surmise they were on property of another. It hardly seems appropriate that this individual be sent to represent the county before the Game Commission.

Mr. Gilkey should be applauded that he took the initiative to represent his constituents at a meeting outside the county in addition to the regularly scheduled ones. He is. I believe, a supervisor who could conclude an issue being discussed at a public meeting without the threat of court action.

No pun intended, Rappahannock seems to be operating under the malicious doctrine of "dog eat dog" rather than an affable code of "let sleeping dogs lie." Just another bone of contention!
