KEEPING YOUR FEET IN SHAPE
AS WELL AS YOUR BODY
During these cold and snowy days most people tend to remain indoors more than at any other time of the year It is therefore difficult for them to get the exercise that their bodies have been used to during the warm weather months It is suggested that bicycle riding, sit ups. swimming and other similar exercises are helpful during the winter Do not forget the muscles of the feet and especially the achilles tendon1 It you are unable to get outside and jog. if you are a regular jogger, make sure that you at least stretch 3 or 4 times a week Stretch out the achilles tendon to prevent one of the most disabling injuries to all athletes Also stretch the tendons of the toes by standing on your tip toes and stretch out the achilles tendon by leaning against a wall and gradually moving your feet further and further back
