Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Elinor Stover Of Amissville were conducted at the Amissville United Methodist Church on Sunday by the Rev. Steven Parker. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Stover, 82, died Friday, July 9, 1982, at the Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. She was the daughter of Mason H. and Lillie Bragg Hitt and the wife of the late Getus T. Stover Sr. A son, Cletus Thomas Stover Jr., also predeceased her.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Burrough, one son, Wallace Stover and a sister, Mrs. Mattie H. Holmes, all of Amissville, seven grandchildren. 13 greatgrandchildren and two greatgreat-grandchildren.
