Miss Janet Yates of Front Royal was maid of honor for her sister, wearing an empirewaisted gown of lavender crepe-backed satin with flowered bodice and sleeves. Her flowers were a nosegay of lavender, yellow and white chrysanthemums.
Other attendants were Mrs. Nina Norman of Washington and Mrs. Vivian Umholtz of Virginia Beach. Their gowns were styled like that of the maid of honor and they carried nosegays of lavender and white chrysanthemums. Timothy Giltinan, brother of the groom, from Timonium, Md., was best man. Ushers were Patrick Giltinan of Philadelphia, Pa., and John Giltinan of Chambersburg, Pa. 1 A reception followed at the church. Mr. and Mrs. Giltinan are living in Newport News.
