Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Brown of Amissville announce the marriage of their daughter Tamara Gail to James Richard Shacklette, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Richard Shacklette of Fredericksburg.

The Rev. Steven D. Parker performed the double ring ceremony in a setting of candlelight and floral arrangements at the Amissville United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 26, at 3 o’clock.

Wanda Heflin played the piano and organ. The Wedding Song and The Lord’s Prayer were sung by Robert Depner.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a formal gown of pearltrimmed white Chantilly lace with a standup neckline. The full skirt ended in a chapel train with Venice lace. Her flowers were a cascade of roses, stephanotis and baby’s breath.
