Latham inquired whether Bruce is writing citations for owners of dogs without county tags.
“It’s mighty hard in some instances if you’re going to write citations for everybody,” the warden answered. “But it’s the only thing that will work," he added. Bruce told the supervisors that he intends to begin issuing citations at the end of the month to owners who have been warned of the requirement for tags but haven’t complied. In addition, he noted that county ordinances require tags to be displayed on dog collars.
