FOURTEEN YEAR-OLD D’ARCY may again be fit enough to compete in endurance rides. Still restricted to a stall and brief outings on a lead line with owner, Patty Alexander of Flint Hill, the mare came successfully through surgery for a fractured leg. Patty purchased the horse as a two-year-old, broke and trained D’Arcy herself and has ridden her in competitive endurance rides for nine years.
