Davis - won easily. Porter also competed in the high jump, clearing four feet, ten inches for first and avenging her earlier defeat in the event by Strasburg’s Pence and finished first in the 200.

Raynetta Gheen and Kathryn Davis were onetwo in the 100 meter dash and Gheen and Davis finished right behind each other again for third and fourth in the long jump. Cindy Weaver threw for first in the discus and second in the shot with Marie Davis second and fourth in the same events. Donna Williams also took third for Rappahannock in the shot.
