The Lions Club Sight and Hearing Screening Van will visit Rappahannock County on May 9-11.

Free vision and hearing tests will be offered as follows: Mon, May 9, 9:30 a.m.3 (RCES students only) at the elementary school; Tues., May 10, 9:30 a.m.1:30 (adult county residents) and 1:30 3 (Wakefield students) at the Wakefield County Day school.

Members of the Rappahannock Lions Club will conduct the free vision and hearing tests in the District 24-A Mobile Screening Van, a 27-foot motor home converted and equipped by the Lions specifically for conducting vision and hearing tests.

The van was purchased in 1976 by Lions Clubs in the Northern Virginia area principally to prevent blindness
