Gardens Featured

The 4th Annual Garden Tour at Lake of the Woods will be held on Friday afternoon, May 6, rain or shine.

At least eight gardens will be open for viewing and those on the waterfront will be reached by pontoon boat, weather permitting. Tickets, which cover the entire tour including a refreshment stop, are $2.50 and will be sold only between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. in the lower parking lot near the Clubhouse.

The public is invited and will be met at the security gate and escorted on the tour by members of the L.O. W. Garden Club.

Lake of the Woods is located east of Culpeper on Route 3. For more information, call the tour coordinator Mrs. M.E. Sorte at 972-2462.

The Warrenton Chapter of the American Association of Retired People is planning a trip to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor on May 19.
