The 800 relay contingent of Eugene Grigsby,Woodward, Starks and Sisk took first and the mile relav foursome of Sisk, Estes, Dodson and Caperton finished second, just one second behind Strasburg.
Doyle Dunn cleared six feet, three and a quarter inches in the high jump, his best effort for a home meet, and more than enough for first place, Clarence Pendleton was second. Dunn was also second in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump.
