Guest’s background is in the investment industry. She was the first woman broker registered with a member firm of the New York Stock Exchange in her native South Carolina. She is the owner and president of Guest and Associates, a farm and financial consulting business. Her husband, Raymond R. “Andy” Guest, is Rappahannock County’s representative in Virginia’s General Assembly’s House of Delegates. Soon she will form a venture capital firm with a special interest in cobrokering. This new business will also occupy space in the Bower House.
Guest noted that Armfield Properties has listings as well as buyers in the Rappahannock area and her invitation in a soft South Carolina drawl was for those from the county who just want to visit the new operation as well as those ready to list or buy: “Come see us!”
