Sue was a former student of Mrs. Helbig and this was a happy occasion to meet again.
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Cave and Tonya and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and Peggy were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Cave and family in Stanley.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Dodson and Elvis and Miss Doris Jenkins attended the Street Rod Antique Car Show in Manassas on Sunday. The Dodsons visited in Winchester on the Fourth of July.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Shultz, Mrs. Ethel Wilds and Clarence Davis attended a shower at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bitner in Madison last Sunday honoring Mrs. Bitner. While the women enjoyed the shower the men were involved in outside games.

Vacation Bible
School
A daily Vacation Bible School sponsored by the Washington Baptist Church, St. Peter’s Catholic, Trinity Episcopal Church and Flint Hill Methodist Church will be held at the Washington Baptist Church, July 25-29, Monday through Friday from 9 to 12 noon each day. Classes are scheduled for nursery age through senior high.
Activities for the week include bible study, music, crafts, refreshments, films and the Bob Martin Puppet Company.
A vacation room will be provided for mothers and persons providing transportation. Persons using the room are asked to bring a bible and some needlework.
