Mrs. Fravel Partlow Blades and Miss Rose Hightower of Venice, Florida visited Mr. Taylor Updike and other relatives and friends in town on Saturday.
Columnist and Mrs. Jack Anderson and Col. and Mrs. Jack Gertez of Potomac, Md. were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert 0. Bridges at Reality Farm. On Friday evening they all had dinner at The Inn at Little Washington.
Mrs. Robert Bridges returned home last week after spending some time in Darien, Connecticut where she visited with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr, and Mrs. Mitch Roberts during the arrival of the Bridges’ ninth grandchild, Weston Woodward Roberts, born on July 7. While there Mrs. Bridges spent two days with her cousin, Mrs. Mary Anna Kershaw in New York City and also attended a broadway show, “Agnes, Of God”.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Burke and Eddie of Front Royal spent Saturday with Mr. Burke’s mother, Mrs. Mary E. Burke.
