The Flint Hill Home Extension Club met at the home of Mrs. Wade Pullen on Tuesday for their annual picnic with fifty members and guests present.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Sunday School held their picnic at the Boston camp on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Looney and grandson, Christian and Mrs. Helen Wright of Woodstock spent last Sunday with Mrs. Christine Vest.
Mrs. Wade Pullen attended the Putman family reunion held on Sunday at the park at Hume.
Jennifer Bywaters of Huntly spent the weekend with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Bywaters.
Mrs. Margaret Eastham and Mrs. Barbara Gentry visited Mrs. Eastham’s sister, Miss Virginia Hughes at Winchester on Sunday. They all attended the Spanish musical “La Corzuela” at the Wolf Trap Farm at Vienna.
Miss Sharen Dodson of Staunton spent the weekend with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gentry.
Mrs. Warren Presgraves visited her sister, Mrs. Mary Martin at Front Royal. They went shopping in Winchester on Saturday. Dennis Layman of Winchester was a Sunday visitor in the Presgraves home.
Keith Kinsey of Front Royal spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff.
Mrs. Christine Vest visited her son, Rodney Vest at Culpeper Memorial Hospital last Monday. He returned to his home at Woodville on Thursday and was visited by his mother on Friday.
Mrs. Hazel Cook and Mrs. Doris Jenkins and daughters of Amissville were Saturday guests of Mrs. Wade Pullen. Sunday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. David Bywaters.
Dr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Scott of Ames, Iowa have returned to their home after a visit with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gentry.
Mrs. Robert Nethers spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey at Sperryville. She also visited Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers and houseguests, Mrs. W. B. Guessford and daughter of Williamsport, Md.
Denny Nutter and children of Annapolis, Md., Mrs. Helen Baynes of Vienna and Mrs. Diana Beckham of New Mexico visited the Warren Presgraves family last Sunday.
