The marriage of Meredith Sherwood Brents and Steven Charles Muhs took place June 25, 1983 in The Falls Church (Episcopal), Falls Church, Virginia, with the Reverend John W. Yates officiating. Mrs. Muhs is the fifth generation of her family to be married from The Falls Church, where George Washington once served as vestryman.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of cream colored batiste appliqued and embroidered with lace flowers, and carried a bouquet of roses, carnations, chrysanthemums and baby’s breath.
Miss Tammy Muhs, sister of the groom, was maid of honor.
David Muhs, cousin of the groom, served as best man.
