She has already begun sending out a monthly agricultural news letter. “The third issue will be mailed this month. We’ve had an excellent response. Anyone who wants to be added to our mailing list should call the office,” Thornhill said.

She urged farmers, home gardners and orchardists, anyone involved in any aspect of agriculture, no matter how small, to contact the extension office with suggestions for new programs. “We’re planning a series of twilight sessions in conjunction with nearby counties. We want to intiate educational programs people are interested in. If someone has an agriculturally related problem, let us know and we’ll try to find the answer.”
