Six new physicians will be setting up medical practice in Culpeper this summer and fall with specialities in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, otolaryngology (ears, nose, throat), internal medicine, orthopaedics, and anesthesiology.
Dr. Peter E. Godfrey, a Maryland native, will be setting up private practice in obstetrics and gynecology in Culpeper August 15.
Dr. Godfrey received his bachelors degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1975 and his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, in 1979.
Following medical school Dr. Godfrey completed his internship in 1980 at Tulane University with Charity Hospital in New Orleans and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1983 at the same institution.
Dr. Charles A. Stein, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, will be starting private practice in pediatric medicine in Culpeper October 1.
Dr. Stein received his bachelors degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1975.
Dr. Stein received his medical degree from the
University of Virginia in 1980 and completed internship and residency in pediatrics at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C., in conjunction with the East Carolina University School of Medicine, Greenville.
