The planning district director reported on an earlier meeting of the State Water Control Board he had attended the same day in Northern Virginia on application for Step III (construction) grants from the Environmental Protection Agency. The SWCB has already set aside $1,337 million of Virginia’s share of the 1983 EPA pot for the Sperryville project, he noted. What remains is for the WSA to make formal application for the money by the September 17 deadline.
Capelle said he reviewed the components of the application with SWCB staff.
