A second child carried a creature with a bone in its hair. “They just wear them,” he told a visitor.

Another animal was a dinosaur, the sole survivor of floods and fires, with clay scales along his back and only one eye. He was being attacked by ugly, angry flying critters who zapped him with red rays. But all that was just part of his way of life—and just part of a two week program crammed with activities to stimulate the imagination.
