1. Dyfonate - Apply ten lbs. of 10G (five lbs. of 20G) per acre, so granules fall into whorls when 50 percent of plants show first generation borer feeding. For second generation borer, apply ten lbs. of 10G (five lbs. of 20G) when field counts show 100 egg masses per 100 plants. (Do not harvest, graze or feed for 30 days after spraying).

2. EPN4G - Apply 10 to 12.5 lbs. per acre for first generation when 75 percent of plants show evidence of leaf feeding. (Wait 14 days between application and harvest).

3. Furadan-Apply 20-30 lbs. in seven inch band. This will only control first generation-will not give satisfactory control of second generation corn borer.
