Although RCHS was up by four, 44-40, as the final quarter began, there was a feeling that the lead wouldn’t hold.
It didn’t. The Tigers out hustled the Panthers, pulling momentum to their side and grabbing a 51-53 edge with just 1:16 left. Clarence Pendleton tied the tally at 53 with a couple of free throws but the Brentsville boys came right back with a bucket.
