Humiliating. That’s the best word to describe the Panthers’ loss last Thursday to Stonewall Jackson in their final road game of the season.
The RCHS squad bested their Bull Run rivals by one point. 66^65, th their earlier meeting in Rappahannock. It was the Generals’ first district loss and it toppled them from first place. They wanted revenge — and they got it at home last week, handing the Panthers a 45<i« defeat. The 23 point embarrassment ranks second only to the 32 point drumming by Strasburg, which came on the Rams’ homecourt after their nine point loss to RCHS in Rappahannock.
