The Child Care and Learning Center (Sursum Corda) is sponsoring two culinary events in March, a family-style spaghetti dinner on March 17 and a series of elegant country suppers on March 31. Money raised from both will go towards the Center’s 1984 operational budget.

The sixth annual spaghetti dinner will be offered in two seatings at Trinity Church parish hall in Washington. Under a new system designed to allow for more comfortable dining in a less crowded atmosphere, diners will be admitted for the first seating between 5 and 5:30 and for the second between 7 and 7:30.

The menu features the special homemade spaghetti sauce which Tinker and Gene Lyman have developed over the years and includes green garden salad with fresh Italian bread, coffee, iced tea and apple juice.
