At the top of his list of priorities Farley put a strong national defense. He said he will support the Reagan administration’s efforts to curtail the spread of communism in Central and South America and support President Reagan in his attempt to fill vacancies in the courts, particularly the Supreme Court, “with those who adhere to the true meaning of the constitution.”
Farley said he will work to alleviate the tax burden by “cutting unnecessary expenditures and saying ‘no’ to special interest groups.” In addition, he said he supported “an all out war on the drug traffic in our nation. ”
