With over 500 boxes of Girl Scout cookies promised to eager customers, the 11 young ladies of Brownie Troop 929, all first graders, have earned super sales honors.
Jerri Mallory, daughter of Jerome and Linda Mallory of Amiss ville, was tops with 119 boxes sold to her credit. Right behind her was Charity Brown, daughter of Raymond and Sheila Brown, also of Amissvilie, who sold 81 boxes. And just a box away with 80 sold was Karen Moore, daughter of Louis and Darlene Moore of Flint Hill.
The girls made nearly $200 profit for the troop from the cookie sales. The money will be used for a special “fun” trip, maybe to Kings Dominion this spring.
