RICHMOND—Nathan H. Miller may have left the Virginia Senate last year, but he is involved with the legislature this year in a different role—as a lobbyist.
Instead of having his arm twisted, he is now twisting arms on behalf of two clients.
Miller, who used to represent Rappahannock and part of Fauquier, is lobbying for.the Virginia, Maryland and Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives, and for Marline Uranium Corporation, according to records filed with the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
Those who remember Miller's 1981 campaign for lieutenant governor will recall that he was under attack on conflict of interest charges.
He was accused of working on legislation to benefit the electric cooperatives he represented as a lawyer— and for which he now lobbies.
