Miller says the economic impact of uranium mining “is certainly of great benefit to the state” if it can be done safely.
Being a former legislator has made him a more effective lobbyist, he says.
“I know the people on the legislative committees,” he says, adding that he also knows the legislative process.
“To many people the process is a mystery,” he says.
Knowing the personalities involved also helps, he says. “I think I have good credibility among the legislators.”
