On 26 January C & F Telephone Company offered subscribers on the S perryville exchange (987) the opportunity to extend their local calling area to include the Criglersville (923) and Madison (948) exchanges at a monthly cost of $1.15 for residential phones and $2.89 for business phones (plus tax). All replies are to be postmarked by 27 March. If 70 percent of those replying to this offer wish to take advantage of it, Criglersville and Madison subscribers will be “considered.”
