Alfred Jenkins, a former resident, who was 88 years old on February 14 was honored with a party on Sunday given by Mr. and Mrs. Littleton Fincham. Besides Mrs. Jenkins other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fincham and Samantha Hope, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cubbage, Kenneth and Nancy Fincham, Miss Karen Nasella and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Brown, all of Culpeper and Mrs. Chester Ellis and Melinda of Madison.

Mother Nature cooperated with good traveling weather on Sunday, February 26 for Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Wood as they motored to Rockville, Md. to visit Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Filyo, Jr. They went especially to attend a party honoring the first birthday of their great-grandson, Stephen Christopher Filyo, who had ten little friends including his cousin, Warren Edw'ards as special guests.
