Learn To Stir Fry
The Rappahannock Extension Office is sponsoring a wok and stir-fry cooking class scheduled for March 1, 7-9 p.m., at the court-^ house. The class will include demonstrations, sharing session and taste testing.
Cost will be $3 to cover ingredients for the recipes.
Benefit Dinner Planned
The Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary will be serving a dinner on Saturday, March 10 at the fire hall for the benefit of the fire department. Proceeds will be used to help purchase beepers for the new dispatch system.
The menu consists of barbecue spare ribs, meat loaf, sauerkraut, green beans, com, macaroni salad, congealed salads, desserts, rolls, butter, coffee and tea. Prices are $6.00 for adults ' and $3.00 for children.
Serving time will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with carryout orders from 4:30 to 5:15 only.
Tickets may be purchased from members of the auxiliary or fire department and at the door.
