The latest Corcoran School of Art student exhibition featured a painting by a Flint Hill artist.
"Lighthouse." an acrylic on raw canvas, is an example of her continuing experimentation with hard and soft lines, says Delia Myers.
“Everything that I have done in the last two years combines either a hard edge or a soft effect...not necessarily in the same painting.” Mrs. Myers says. “You can see the progression.”

“Lighthouse,” an abstract work, was inspired by “the need to turn on my own light,” the artist says.
Her husband John — a Fauquier County teacher — named the painting, she admits.
