Middleburg Greens Show

“Choices of Christmas,” the Middleburg Garden Chib's Greens Show is scheduled for Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8. The show will be held at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church pariah house. For more information oil Mrs. C. Fred Kohler at 708-6876816.

Culpeper Choral Christmas Concerts

On Friday, December 14 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, December 16 at 8 p.m, the thirty voice Culpeper-Piedmont Choral Society will present its 18th annual Christmas Concert at the Precious Blood Church at 401 North Main Street in Culpeper. To accomodate its increasing audience, Music Director Lois Shanks has chosen to offer two identical performances of mostly sacred music of the 13th through the 20th centuries. With soloists, organist, instrumentalists and a guest children’s chorus, the works of some eighteen composers will be sung mrindiag several familiar carols.

The concert is free and open to the public. The choral society also announces the winner of its recent logo contest is Steven J. Harlow of Roanoke. Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings

Alcoholics Anonymous will begin meeting in SpenyviDe on Monday evenings at 8:30 in the Baptist Church basement on Rt 211. These meetings are “open” which means that friends and family mmW« welcome.

Spaghetti Benefit Dinner

A spaghetti dinner to benefit RCES’ seventh-grade trip to Jamestown, Williamsburg and Richmond next March will be on Friday, Dec. 14.

The dinner will be served from 5-8 p.m. at the 1Upp«H«»»mwUr County Elementary school. AH you can eat for adults is $S; Single serving, adult, 84; Single serving, child (under 10), $2.

A drawing for a ham and a soft-sculptured doll by Tummeyer will take place at 7:30 p.m.
