The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) has opened its 1985 Membership Drive, according to Sid Gottlieb, RAAC membership chairman. As it prepares to start its third year, RAAC has set as its goal an increase of 50 over its present 300 members.
RAAC is a public, tax-exempt corporation, dedicated to the enrichment of life in Rappahannock County through art and community activities. During its first two years, it has hosted over 15,000 viewers and participants, mostly residents of this countv.
Gottlieb points out that the major source of RAAC’s resources to fund 1985’s quality program offerings comes from membership contributions. Membership categories are: students, $3; individuals, $10; family, $25; sponsor, $50; and patron, $100.
