The CCRC decision to concentrate on an alternative site search, said Price, “does not mean we have sidetracked our preparations to offer legal resistance if the supervisors go ahead with a suit to condemn the Route 621 site. We cannot imagine the Board would proceed with condemnation of this unacceptable tract after it has been shown a number of sites that are far less costly to acquire, prepare and operate, and that impact the county and its citizens immeasurably less than the Route 621 site.”
