Minimum lot size, expansion of the village area and religious freedom were key issues raised December 3 by residents of Jackson District during a meeting on the proposed zoning ordinance held at the Amissville Fire Hall.
More than 80 people attended the meeting, which was conducted by the Planning Commission and members of the Board of Supervisors. It was the fourth of five meetings that have taken place by magisterial district. The fifth meeting is scheduled on December 11 for residents of Piedmont District (Sperryville).
